Hitomi passed away in June 2010 after a two-year battle with lung disease. She was a compassionate, caring and considerate person who was much loved by her family and friends. She will be deeply missed. One of Hitomi's last wishes was to help others suffering from lung disease and to advance research towards possible cures. This Breath of Life Fund has been set up in her memory as a contribution to these aims.
